What is Getting into a Trance
Trance state for Hypnosis or guided Meditation
Trance is when your thinking mind is not the one in charge. You may enter trance when you have done something so many times you do not even think about it anymore, you are just doing the motions without consciously thinking about what to do next like practicing yoga or washing the dishes. You may get into a trance state by counting down numbers, dancing, or by using progressive muscle relaxation to name a few. If we say affirmations to our logical mind, it will say that is not true or that is not happening. However when we trick the logical mind by going deeper into the subconscious mind, this part of us does not know the difference between real or imagined. You can bring your attention to relax every part of you so your mind begins to surrender and then after your mind is relaxed too then you can go into deeper meditation known as trance. I used to think I just couldn’t meditate, but a lot of these meditations you listen to just are not preparing you enough. You can't expect to just close your eyes and boom picture a waterfall. Prepare the relaxation by first entering into a trance state and then you will start to believe the meditation like when you read a book or watch a movie and believe it all.
